HOMOEOPATHY

Homoeopathy is an effective and scientific system of healing which assists the natural tendency of the body to heal itself. It recognises that all syptoms of ill health are expressions of disharmony within the whole person, and that it is the individual who needs treatment, and not just the disease.
The aim of homoeopathy is to provide a rapid, gentle and safe method of treatment and cure, to restore a sense of health and well-being on the mental and emotional levels as well as the physical. It is equally effective in dealing with long-term chronic ailments and acute illnesses like 'flu' viruses, coughs and colds.

Homeopathic remedies, while being profoundly powerful when correctly prescribed, are highly diluted, and therefore free from harmful side effects. They have their initial reaction at the primary level of disturbance, the energy level or vitality, and stimulate the natural self-healing processes to restore order in the way most beneficial to the individual.

Carole Henchy BA (hons) RSHom qualified in homoeopathy at the North West College of Homoeopathy in 1989, and has been accepted onto the Register of the Society of Homeopaths. She has been a Vice Principal and lecturer at the North West College, and now as well as practising at Aluna, she also sees clients at the Jewish Cultural Centre in Salford, serving the Orthodox Jewish Community. As well as using classical homoeopathy, Carole also sometimes uses flower essences, (Bach Flower Remedies, California Flower Essences and Australian Bush Flower Essences) when appropriate, and finds this can enhance and support homoeopathic treatment.
