LIGHT TOUCH THERAPIES.

There are a range of light touch therapies available which effectively deal with back pain, muscular-skeletal, postural problems, sports injuries etc. They an also have a beneficial effect on other areas of health.

SPINAL TOUCH THERAPY is a gentle non-manipulative technique for treating postural and spinal distortions and revitalizing, and rebalancing the energies. Gentle touch applied to key points along the spine redirects the energy to re-establish its natural flow, allowing the body to correct its posture. It is particularly effective in treating chronic and acute back pain and muscle tension. The spine is the central core of the body's vitality and when it is allowed to recover its natural centre of gravity the strain put on muscles, organs and bones is relieved, freeing the energy to flow in its natural pathways, bringing a return to balanced health and vitality.

BOWEN TECHNIQUE is a gentle dynamic process of balancing the body and redirecting energy flow, acheived by minimal movements across muscles, connective tissue and reflex points. By this simple method, energy is released into key areas of the body, reducing muscle spasms, increasing blood supply, and stimulating lymphatic drainage. This results in the clearance of toxic debris and the release of tension, thus enabling the body's powers of recovery and repair to restore health and function.

ORTHOBIONOMY, also known a biomobility or spontaneous release, is a very effective way of dealing with persistent aches and pains that do not respond to more systematic techniques.
